What is dunk-it!?

  dunk-it! is a fabulous new way of creating dunking opportunities with every kind of food imaginable and raising funds for a good cause at the same time. Simply think of a dunking theme, invite your friends, family and colleagues and serve up your own dunk-it! delights.

When is dunk-it!?

  As it’s a year-round fundraiser, it can be any time you like. Indoors or outdoors, relaxed or super-energetic, a few friends or a whole club, school or company, there’s a dunk-it! occasion to suit everyone aged from two to 92.

What can I do for dunk-it! ?

  You can join in by organising your own dunk-it! event. We have lots of tips and ideas for themed events on our Fundraising ideas page and in our Dunk-it! Fundraising Pack (3854 kb)

How can Branches/Groups get involved with dunk-it! ?

  dunk-it! is a money-spinning idea that works through its simplicity and versatility and everything raised through this type of event stays with the Branch/Group.

Can I have more event posters, sponsorship forms, etc?

  We will make lots of useful materials available once you’ve registered your event. Simply fill in the online registration form and we’ll be delighted to send you whatever you need to make your event a success.

Are any dunk-it! branded products available?

  Visit the MND Association's shop for the latest dunk-it! products including T shirts, mugs and fridge magnets.

Can you donate prizes for a raffle I’m organising?

 We’d love to be able to support you, however, we simply don’t have the resources. Try contacting local businesses, or ask among your friends – you don’t know who else might be happy to help you until you ask.

Can I use a dunk-it! logo?

  Once you’ve registered your event, you are welcome to request logo artwork and usage guidelines.

How do I get my event noticed by the media?

 Tell the world what you’re doing to fundraise for dunk-it! – if you’re new to this, you can get some Make the headlines (1091 kb) hints and tips.

Do I need to register my event?

  It’s really important to us that you do. You can register online, or download a Dunk-it Registration Form.indd (66 kb) and return it to us.

Once you’ve registered you’ll have access to lots of dunk-it! extras as well as our dunk-it! team who will be happy to advise you.

Are there any legal dos and don'ts?

 We really appreciate your support – thank you. Please remember that you are responsible for your fundraising, so check out our advice on dunking-it! brilliantly, safely and legally (345 kb)

How do I pay over money raised?

  Once you have registered your event we will send you a paying in slip and full instructions. If you need to you can download a Dunk-it! Paying-in Slip (45 kb) .

Will I receive an acknowledgement of monies sent in?

 Yes you will receive a letter thanking you and acknowledging the amount raised.

How can I be sure if my donation qualifies for Gift Aid?
