The UK MND Professional Network is an expanding group of dedicated Health and Social Care Professionals from across the United Kingdom, committed to supporting professionals working towards improving the quality of care for people living with motor neurone disease and their families.
The network already has strong links with the RCN, the MND Association and the Scottish MND Association. We are keen to expand these links with other professional and voluntary organisations.
The purpose of the UK MND Professional Network is two-fold:
- To support Health and Social Care Professionals working with people and their families living with MND
- To share good practice, consider new initiatives and contribute to the generation of clinical guidelines to influence service delivery to promote quality of care.
Network Meetings
The UK MND Professional Network has meetings twice a year which offer the opportunity to meet with other professionals in the world of MND, hear invited speakers, share evidence of good practice, consider and share the implications of published literature and government policy, and identify issues for exploration and further examination.
