A comprehensive range of literature is also available, including leaflets and information sheets describing all aspects of the condition for people affected by the disease, for professionals involved in their care and for those involved in research.
In addition the Association maintains a bibliographic database containing abstracts of journal articles and detailed entries on books, reports and conference proceedings. Searches can be made on subjects specified by enquirers, from neurotoxic research, to management of swallowing problems or the psychological impact of the disease.
