Denmans Electrical Wholesalers LTD had supported Children's Hospice for a number of years but on 1 March 2010, following the news that an employee had been diagnosed with MND, they changed their charity to the MND Association. Denmans Electrical Wholesalers have set a fundraising target of £15,000 to support our work this year and has a host of events planned.
The first major event that took place was when Arnold Denman, whose father founded Denmans, and his wife, Dorothy, took part in the Cape to Cape Grand tour. This seven-day classic car tour over a challenging 1,400 mile route started from the spectacular Cape Cornwall and finished at Capo Finisterre on the Northwest coast of Spain.
From this event alone they managed to raise an amazing £4,394. Arnold and his wife Dorothy kindly matched the fundraising effort from the Denman Charitable Trust.
