Kilworth House Hotel supported the MND Association throughout 2006 and smashed their £100,000 fundraising target by raising a staggering
£120,254! "Celia and I had no hesitation in choosing the MND Association as the hotel's chosen charity for 2006. Several of our friends have died from this terrible disease. The MND Association provides care and support for those with MND and their families and funds research into the causes of this remorseless illness."
Rickard Mackay, Owner, Kilworth House Hotel Kilworth House Hotel is a luxury independent hotel set amid 38 acres of landscaped south Leicestershire parkland. This grade II listed former family home was developed personally by Richard and Celia Mackay only a few years ago into the hotel it is today.
How did they do it?
Kilworth House Hotel organised a variety of fundraising events including ladies lunches, golf days, a lavish midsummer ball and a festive Christmas gala dinner. They also organised a walk around their beautiful grounds.
