Re-selling your Auction Lots
We know that many of our fabulous fundraisers hold charity auctions at their events. Occasionally, successful bidders have a change of heart, or simply don’t collect their lot – now there is the perfect solution to re-auction these items via the internet!
How does it work? Buyoncegivetwice
was specifically developed to re-sell unused or returned Charity auction lots. The site allows the recycling of these items, enabling the Charity to raise money a second time around! Often, the lots are things that money can’t normally buy – such as VIP ticket to sporting and special events and memorabilia of all kinds, so…it’s the perfect way to tempt a buyer from a much wider audience, and raise greater awareness of MND!
The MND Association is now listed as one of the Charity beneficiaries on Buyoncegivetwice
so any Branch, Group or individual who wants to re-sell lots can ensure that the Association benefits.
How much goes to the Charity?
After you have placed your lot for auction, there is opportunity to stipulate a reserve price and indicate an end date. If the lot sells, 90% goes directly to the Charity, the rest towards the site administration costs.
