PUT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD & STRIDE OUT IN OUR 'ALL YEAR ROUND' SERIES OF FUN AND SOCIABLE WALKS!

Walk to d’feet* MND is our signature national fundraising event and a fantastic 'year-round' opportunity for individuals, branches and groups to raise awareness and much needed funds through sponsored walks. It's an event for the whole family to enjoy!

Together, let's take steps to d'feet MND.

EVENT INFORMATION

You can host or take part in Walk to d’feet* MND at any time you please, or if you prefer, you can join a walk that is already taking place in your area. The decision is yours!

Walks can be held at any time of the year, any location and for however long or short a distance as you wish. You might like to consider theming your walk to coincide with a special occasion, birthday or anniversary.

Walks can also take place during our MND Awareness month in June: it's entirely up to you when, where and how you'd like to get involved and show your support.


TEAM LEADER INFORMATION

If you are interested in organising a walk, become a Team Leader. Please read the WTDF Team Leader Brochure

For further information, please complete the Team Leader Registration Form and return to national office to officially register your walk.

You can also find out further information on what actions need to be taken during the various stages of the event;

Please note, you will also need to complete a WTDF Risk Assessment Form prior to your walk which needs to be sent to national office as soon as possible. This will enable us to determine whether the walk can be covered under the MND Association Public Liability Insurance against third party damage only.

Participation in the walk is entirely at your own risk. To be covered under the MND Association's public liability insurance (against third party damage only), you MUST sign the Walkers' Registration Form on the day of the walk to confirm you are in good health and fit enough to take part. However, this does not cover you or your dependents for personal injury including death. Should you wish to be covered for personal injury insurance, we strongly recommend that yuo take out your own insurance cover for personal accident benefits. If in doubt, please seek independent advice.

Should you wish to set up an online fundraising page, please note for JUSTGIVING pages only, we will provide you with a `pre-selected' team link to use to set up your page and for you to share with your walkers.


WALKER INFORMATION

For all walkers who are recruited via a Team Leader in your area, please read the WTDF Walker Information Form for further information and simply complete the Walker Information Form within the brochure and return the form to your Team Leader to register you for their walk.

You can also find out further information on what needs to be done during the various stages of the event within the brochure under `Walker Frequently Asked Questions'.

If you're interested in joining a walk that is already taking place in an area close to you, please look at our 2013 Walk Finder section and contact the relevant Team Leader to register directly with them.

If your area is not listed or the walk in your area has already happened, maybe you could think about starting your own walk?


SUPPORT WE PROVIDE

Along with fundraising help and support, we will provide you with a fundraising support pack to include branded Walk to d'feet* MND sponsor forms and stickers, together with a materials request form for you to order certificates, lapel pins and t-shirts for you and your walkers.

To find our if there is a walk registered near you simply select the relevant county. With Walk to d'feet* MND being an `all year round' activity - there's sure to be a date and location to suit everyone.
