Why our members are so important
The MND Association receives virtually no Government funding and relies on voluntary donations.
Members not only provide vital support for the ongoing work of the Association, but just as importantly, strengthen our voice and increase our influence on central Government and local authorities.
Being a member of the MND Association is a strong statement of support for all people with MND, and gives us strength in numbers. Each and every member adds to the collective voice of the Association.
Membership includes:
- Membership card
- A quarterly magazine, Thumb Print, full of information, advice and the latest news on care and research;
- The Annual Review outlining our achievements over the last year;
- Invitations to exclusive conferences and seminars organised by the Association;
- An introduction to your nearest local Branch if you would like support at a local level or want to get involved with the work of the Association in your area.
There are two types of membership for those wishing to join the MND Association: Full or Associate membership, with varying fees depending upon individual circumstances.
