National Campaigning

The MND Association focuses much of its influencing activity at a national level, as this is where the greatest changes are going to take place.

  • Monitors legislation going through Parliament that might have an effect on people living with MND
  • Lobbies Parliament on legislation that affects people living with MND and provides briefing notes highlighting their views
  • Seeks to influence the content of guidance produced for the NHS and social services, such as the National Service Framework for Long-term Conditions.
  • Provides the Secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on MND
