Oldrids & Downtown Department Stores

Oldrids logoAfter a member of Oldrids staff was diagnosed with MND, we received a telephone call saying the company would like to support us for one, or maybe even two years, starting in Spring 2006. A target has now been set to raise £10,000 through employee fundraising!
Finding out a colleague has MND prompted Oldrids staff to raise funds for the MND Association.
Oldrids is a family business that was established in 1804. It now has four department stores in Boston and Grantham, Lincolnshire.

How will Oldrids do it?

We have provided a collecting tin for every Oldrids till point and supplied Thumbs Up pin badges to sell to customers. However, we expect the vast majority of funds to be raised through employee fundraising.

The MND Association National Office has worked closely with the Lincolnshire branch to raise awareness with customers in store and also to provide employees with information about fundraising and the Association.
