Run through the world of the Maya
It’s arrived…the next in our trilogy of 100k runs!
Discover the amazing ‘Yucatan Peninsula’ on this running challenge of a life time.
Explore on foot, the ancient land of the Aztecs and Mayas, feasting your eyes on one of the ‘New Seven Wonders of the World’ – the magnificent city of Chichén Itzà.
Leave the 21st Century behind as you witness mystical landscapes of a lost civilisation. Mexico will simply take your breath away!
The Route
The fun begins as we run 25km each day, through rural Yucatan - passing sleepy towns and villages forgotten by time.
We will enjoy the sights, sounds and flavours of Mexico as we run this mainly flat and dusty terrain.
Taking a well earned rest after each run, there will be opportunity to soak up the world famous Chichén Itzà, or take a dip in the crystal clear ‘cenotes’ at Valladolid,
and Coba. Culminating at our finish line in Tulum – we are greeted by the sparkling sapphire blue of the Caribbean ocean.View the full Run Mexico Itinerary (977 kb) here.
