‘Trail blazing’ once again, the MND Association proudly announces the arrival of ‘Run Morocco'! Especially designed for our inspiring and adventurous MND Association runners, you will be the first team ever to run this course across the Hamada- ‘stone desert’.

Be part of this unique opportunity and be amazed by Morocco’s mystical beauty and its ancient charm as you cross the divide into a different world! 

In the fourth of our ‘100km’ series…you will run 25km on four consecutive days…seeing this country in a way you would not have dreamed possible. Starting at the foot of the mighty Atlas Mountains you will run through the stunning palm valleys, across dry river beds - passing some of Morocco’s most awe inspiring landscapes that will take your breath away.  

Your route is carefully and safely planned throughout – ensuring this adventure will be a memorable, once in a lifetime ‘run like no other’.

The Route

Let the challenge commence! From ‘the door of the desert’ to the foot of the mountains; from palm oasis to bustling Marrakech.

You cannot fail to be impressed by the dramatic and diverse landscapes of this amazing corner of the world.

A totally unique running experience – with all your needs catered for. Clear route marking; 5km water stops; tour doctor to accompany you - plus a ‘post run’ massage – making this an exciting but safe challenge.

There is even time in the afternoons for you to explore the desert, visit the World Heritage Site of AÏt Benhaddou and maybe even drink mint tea with the Berbers. With our finish line in the centre of vibrant and magical Marrakech, there’s even time to charm a snake or two.

Terrain: Undulating. Hard packed dirt/gravel tracks (occasionally tarmac).
