Fundraising Ideas
There are many different ways of fundraising and this page offers you a few ideas to get you started.

Once you decide on an event, do let us know so that we can register your details. We will provie you with support, advice and fundraising materials to help promote awareness of MND and make your event even more of a success!
Get your office involved
- Organise a treasure hunt - it doesn't have to be outdoors!
- Set up a sponsored assault course, or sponsored clay pigeon shooting.
- Organise a sandwich run for the week - charge an extra 50p per person for this service.
- Guess the bonus ball. Each person pays to guess the National Lottery bonus ball - the winner gets half the money and we get the other half.
Explore the great outdoors
Whatever your age or level of fitness there is a fundraising event for you:
- A duck race or balloon race
- A treasure hunt
- Orienteering - either compete individually or in teams.
- Sponsored walks, cycling, fun runs, swimming, rowing, stretcher races, raft races, marathons, decathlons...
Games
- Charge an 'entry fee' to take part in a games night with a prize for the winner - the options are endless! Try darts, dominoes or your favourite board game.
- Create your own quiz sheet for friends and colleagues.
- Ask your local pub to hold a quiz night or drinking/eating competition.
Sponsorship
You can be sponsored for practically anything from a sponsored silence to a sponsored trek.
SImply contact us to register your event and we wil send you sponsor forms.
You can also get sponsorship online by using the Just Giving website or Virgin Money Giving.
Tell people about your event or fundraising activity
Use social networking sites such as Facebook ® or Twitter™ to spread the word about your event and raise funds. - Keep people up to date with what you’re doing, the more people who know, the more successful your event is likely to be.
- Share photos and meet other people, create your own fundraising network.
- Link online sponsorship pages into your social media pages.
