London Marathon Group 07

Can you pledge £1,500?

For the remaining 25 Golden Bond places (available for allocation from October) there is always high demand. To make our application process as fair as possible, we ask that the following criteria is met:

  • Firstly you should have applied directly to the London Marathon for a place through the ‘Public Ballot’, and have been unsuccessful. Although this is not essential, individuals that have firstly applied direct to the London Marathon, will be given priority.
  • You must have/have had a direct link to someone with Motor Neurone Disease
  • You must be able to pledge to raise a minimum of £1,500
  • All successful applicants will be required to pay a ‘non-refundable’ registration fee of £20, once we have confirmed their place.

When Will I Know If I've Been Successful?

Marathon RunnerThe London Marathon will let you know in October/November whether or not you have been successful in the ballot. Once you know the outcome, please contact the Fundraising Team on 01604 611860 or email us.

  • If you have been successful, we will be delighted to send you one of our Marathon Fundraising Packs and register you as one of our team.
  • If you are unsuccessful, please contact us for an application form for one of our Golden Bond Places. All applications must be returned promptly by 20 December 2008.

You will be notified during the first week in January whether we have been able to offer you a place.
