Royal Parks Half Marathon
12 October 2008

Be part of London’s first ever Half Marathon!

Royal Parks Half Marathon Logo 2008The Royal Parks Foundation has planned for 12,500 runners to race through four of the Royal Parks, taking in superb views of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall.

A Great Day Out

Experience a festival atmosphere where the spectator’s experience is as important as the runner’s. The Royal Parks Foundation protects wildlife and conserves the natural environment, ensuring that this will be a sustainable and green event.

Spectators have fun too!

There will be plenty of space to watch the runners in the Parks and there will be interactive events during the race including:

  • Activities ‘while you watch’ - e.g. Once runners have departed, be part of a world record attempt for the largest Tai Chi session ever!
  • A ‘Keep fit while you watch’ marquee
  • Try a power-generating rowing machine or a people-powered PA system!

    How do I apply?

We have a limited number of 'Golden Bond' places available and these will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
