Our projects
Every year we require funding to ensure that everyone living with MND is receiving the best possible care. Through our work we want to make a real difference to people living with MND.
The areas in need of funding include:
- Equipment Loan Service including the purchase of items and delivery;
- MND Connect support and information service;
- Educational Events;
- Regional Care Centres;
- Regional Care Development Advisers;
- Volunteering and volunteer development;
- Campaigning and influencing;
- Publications;
- Conferences and the International Symposium;
- Financial support for respite care and specialist equipment;
- General care of people affected by MND within geographic regions;
- And research into the causes, treatments and ultimately a cure for MND.
In addition to this, we also run special appeals to cover specific areas of our work in need of funding. Our current special appeals are listed below.
