Making a Difference to Me
The Making a Difference to Me Awards are held to thank volunteers for their contribution to the work of the Association, and in particular for the commitment, time and enthusiasm which is demonstrated on a daily basis.
The MND Association has approximately 1,500 volunteers working in Branches and Groups throughout the country.
Our volunteers make a difference for people living with MND by doing such things as holding local support meetings, raising funds, raising the profile of the Association locally and influencing policy and decision makers within their own community.
We believe the best people to help us with these awards are those for whom their local Branch or Group has made a real difference.
To nominate, please download, and return, a Making a Difference to Me - Nomination Form 2008 (42 kb) to outline why you think the Branch or Group is deserving of special recognition.
The closing date for nominations is Friday 26 September 2008.
Branches and Groups will be awarded certificates describing the special support/service they have provided.
