Income Support

Income Support is an income-related benefit for people aged from 16 years up to age 60 that are on a low income. The amount of Income Support due, may vary depending on what other income you have coming into the household.

Can I get it?

  • Are you living in Great Britain?
  • Are you aged between 16 and 59?
  • Are you on a low income?
  • Not working or working on average less than 16 hours a week?
  • Do you have savings under £16,000?

If you answered YES to all of the above, claim Income Support.
