South West Wales Branch - Branch secretary

The branch secretary is a very involved role that is integral to the success of the branch. The South West Wales Branch is looking for a new secretary to help with the administration and organisation or meetings and events.

The main responsibilities of this role are:
-To prepare, with the chair, agendas for committee and other meetings and take the minutes of those meetings
-To respond and deal with all branch correspondence
-To ensure the effective and accurate communication and updating of branch information including branch membership list
-To keep and file appropriate papers
-To attend committee meetings 

 

South East Wales Branch - Branch chair

The South East Wales Branch are looking for a new branch chair to lead the branch.

The main responsibilities of this role include:
- ensuring that the branch activities are in agreement with those set out in the branch charter
- prepare the branch committee agenda in consultation with the secretary
- chair committee meetings and ensure that the committee works effectively
- act as a host at branch functions or events
- monitor the work of committee and ensure that branch members are involved wherever possible
