We are delighted to unveil plans for the MND Association’s 2013 Annual Conference and AGM.This year we are holding a one-day event at RadissonBlu Hotel at Stansted Airport.
Once again we are offering people living with MND and one carer the opportunity to attend without charge.
The conference is a great way for people with MND, their carers and families to meet each other and to learn more about MND and the care and support available to them. There will also be a range of information and advice stands manned throughout the day by Association staff and external exhibitors. The popular complementary therapists will also be on hand to provide their unique and relaxing service to all attendees.
The formal business of the AGM will take place in the morning, with opportunities to pose questions to members of the Board of Trustees. This will be followed by a break when there will be plenty of time for lunch, browsing the stands and meeting old friends and Association staff.
In the afternoon, we will welcome our main speaker, Prof Kevin Talbot from the Oxford MND Care Centre. Following an introduction from our Director of Research, Dr Brian Dickie, Prof Talbot will tell us about the latest develpoments in research.
