Respiratory Management in MND - Advanced Study Day

Description

This programme is designed to update Medical, Health and Social Care Professionals who have experience of working with people with MND & knowledge of current practice in respiratory management.

£50 fee (for bookings by December 15) extended until 19 December
£70 fee (for bookings after December 15)

During the day we will :

• Review respiratory physiology, interpretation and methods of surveillance
• Update on the role and provision of invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Consider ethical dilemmas in respiratory management at the end of life
• Discuss respiratory palliation
• Provide practical sessions in non invasive ventilation, cough management & review of tracheostomy interventions & carer / user perspective on respiratory support.
