MND on TV
Television is an important medium for the MND Association. It means we can raise awareness of MND among a large audience, that may have a limited knowledge of the disease.
The MND Association works to promote MND through news broadcasts, real life documentaries and TV drama storylines. We advise and support TV researchers and find people who are willing to be interviewed.
In 2005, the BBC Horizon programme featured someone with MND, and Yorkshire Television broadcast a two-part documentary, that followed John Bell and his young family as they came to terms with the disease.
