Study day for Advanced Practitioners – Respiratory Management

Contemporary Issues in Respiratory Management in MND is the subject for an advanced study day for Health and Social Care Professionals.

The event, organised by the MND Association, will be held on 17 September at Imperial College, London. The delegate fee is £50.

Objectives of the day are to:

• Gain in-depth knowledge of respiration in MND
• Have a clear understanding of the treatment and management options available
• Consider and share knowledge and experiences of respiratory care in MND, including ethical and moral dilemmas
• Gain the information and confidence to make a difference to the respiratory care and management of people with MND in their local area
• Understand the impact from the perspective of a person with MND and their Carer
