From Donation to Innovation
The MND Association has taken part in the first national survey of how smaller and medium sized medical research charities spend funds on different types of research.
The report 'From Donation to Innovation: An analysis of health research funded by medium and smaller sized medical research charities' has looked at the spending of 29 member charities of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) with annual research spends of up to £17 million in 2004-05.
Our participation in this report enables us to see how we fit into the bigger picture of the UK health research environment. It also demonstrates our transparency allowing people with MND, donors, and researchers to see how our funds are spent on research.
