At the MND Association we are committed to realising our vision of a A World Free of MND.
We have a tremendous opportunity to be part of the history of the ending of MND. However, the critical barrier to bringing this about is the lack of investment in research. We already spend £1 million a year on research but this is not enough if we are to have any significant impact on ending the disease.
Created in October 2006, the Research Foundation aims to raise £15 million by December 2008 to allow our six-year Research Strategy to be fully implemented, moving us closer to our vision of a world free of MND.
