Biomarkers Research Grants

Description:

At work in the lab

The lack of a definitive test for MND leads to unnecessary delay in diagnosis and treatment.

We intend to support a programme of research studies aimed at identifying a unique chemical 'fingerprint' of MND, that can be used not only as an aid to diagnosis, but also to improve the assessment of disease progression and drug response in future clinical trials.

A biomarkers research project would typically cost £200,000 over three years.

If you, your company or trust were to make a major donation to one or more of these research projects, we would happily discuss any wishes you might have as to what you would like the project/s to be named.
