MNDA Fire Fighters Calendar 2013 – Orders Now Being Taken
The Grimsby and Cleethorpes Branch have produced a 2013 Fire Fighters MNDA Calendar in association with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service. The calendar is certainly one for the ladies but has been done in good taste so it would be suitable for all ages!
The calendars are A3 size, and retail at £8.00 each plus £2 p&p. If you are interested, contact Branch Chair, Lisa Blow by e-mail stating how many you require. Omar Dickson has been living with MND since 2006 and has since lost the function in both his arms. He was forced to give up work but in order to keep himself active and focused he decided to use his experience and knowledge of life in Africa to turn his hand to writing!

Midlands Co-operative Society has launched a floral bouquet to raise money for the Association.

Janet Parry is selling MND silicone wristbands to raise money for research into the causes, treatment and cure for MND. Janet’s brother Andrew is living with MND and Janet, her sister in law Jayne, and their whole family have set themselves the challenge of raising £10,000.

Stacey Dyer, an enthusiastic amateur photographer, has created a website featuring a selection of her own photographs. 20% from all print sales will be donated to raise money for the MND Association. Stacey's father, Mike Dyer - a keen photographer himself in life - passed away from MND in 2004. The website has been created in his memory and to acknowledge the wonderful support the family received from the MND Association.
Sue Pickard has published a novel entitled “The Lovers Cookbook,” a light-hearted read about food and love and fund raising.
Sue’s dad died after a long battle with MND and Sue is donating proceeds made from the sale of the novel to the MNDA. The book is available to buy at www.lulu.com and will also be available on Amazon.
