Simon Adams

Simon Adams and family

Simon is 51 years old and has been passionate about photography for the past 30 years.

Simon worked in the technology, telecoms, internet sectors and since being diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2012, he uses smart technology to take full control of his camera and flying his drone from his wheelchair.

Digital photography allows Simon to combine both technical and creative skills to shoot his photographs. Simon is paralysed from the neck downwards, is reliant on a ventilator and 24-hour care. Photography helps him retain a positive mental attitude and deal with his illness.
