This page is currently being developed. When launched, it will link to a new visual hub for younger children aged 4 to 10. The colourful hub will gently introduce MND as a subject. It will also include a game, competitions, a picture gallery and other options, all designed to help a child feel included when MND creates change around them.
“Making question boxes and memory boxes are brilliant ideas to help a young child close to someone with MND.” Family member affected by MND
If you are a parent, relative or professional, and would like help to communicate about MND with a younger child, see the information option for families, carers and children on our page Information for people with or affected by MND.
Our list of Useful organisations and internet sites includes suggestions to help you support children and young people.
If you are a young person close to someone with MND, see our hub for young people aged 11 to 18.
