Royal College of General Practitioners

This free-to-access course introduces MND and is open to all health and social care professionals.

In this second free-to-access course, signs and symptoms are examined in more detail, with a focus on management. With the use of case studies, potential treatment options are explored and approaches to end of life care are discussed.

Royal College of Nursing

A course for registered or student nurses, health care assistants (HCA) or assistant practitioners working in any health care setting or specialism, designed to support the care of people with MND.

University of Northampton

Our free online module for care workers introduces MND, its symptoms, and the support a care worker can give to a person with MND.

Oxford Brookes University

20 M level (level 7) credits

This Masters-level module from Oxford Brookes University is aimed at practitioners working with people with long-term neurological conditions, including motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease.

Health Education England: Genomics Education Programme

This course covers what genomics is, how genomic information is being used to support clinical practice, and its future impact on healthcare.

End of Life Care for All (e-ELCA)

e-ELCA was developed by Health Education England e-Learning for Healthcare in partnership with the Association for Palliative Medicine of Great Britain and Ireland.

This MND-specific learning path includes a number of free sessions that will support professionals in caring for people with MND towards the end of their lives.
