“The support Brian gives me is vital” – Margaret
Living with MND is a struggle for Margaret. But coping would be much harder if Brian Jackson hadn’t been inspired to train as an MND Association Visitor (AV).
“I look forward to Brian’s visits and know that I can ring him any time in between. He’s easy to talk to and makes me laugh – laughter is precious,” Margaret says.
Brian helps Margaret with practical things, like going through her post and checking she’s happy with the way her care is managed. And he helps her with little things - like drinking a cup of tea.
Margaret says, “An AV’s support is so vital. I feel sad there aren’t enough. There’s such a need for them”
