The MND Association are delighted to introduce you to our new Insights series of virtual events. Over the coming months Insights will bring you an exciting new range of online speaker events, all created especially for our valued supporters.

Join us for an evening’s tasting with Berry Bros. & Rudd Wine Buyer, Davy Zyw.

The virtual tasting kindly sponsored by Berry Bros. & Rudd will start at 8.00pm on Thursday 10th December and last for approximately one hour. Tickets cost £100.00 per household and includes one 75cl bottle of Berry Bros. & Rudd Grand Cru Champagne by Mailly and one 75cl bottle of 2015 Berry Bros. & Rudd Brunello di Montalcino by La Màgia from Tuscany; so we encourage you to include any other adults from your household in the tasting.

About Davy

Davy Zyw is Senior Wine Buyer at Berry Bros. & Rudd where he sources wines from Italy and Champagne amongst other regions. As well as ten plus years of wine buying experience, Davy is a published author, having published two books on his favourite topic - Champagne.

In April 2018, Davy was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. This August together with twin brother Tommy and a group of friends, Davy cycled the North Coast 500 route: 500 miles around the Scottish Highlands in 4 days, raising over £120,000 and earning him the Points of Light Award by the Prime Minister's office. Earlier this year MND Association was nominated by employees as Berry Bros. & Rudd’s company charity in support of Davy.

Upcoming Insights

In December we look forward to Christmas with two interactive sessions: a wreath-making workshop led by gold medal-winning RHS Chelsea designer Sue Hayward and a wine tasting run by Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd, Britain's oldest fine wine and spirits merchant
