The South and East Somerset Branch of the MND Association offers support to all those in the area affected by motor neurone disease. This also includes carers, partners, relatives, in fact anyone who has been touched in some way by the disease.
We hold regular Support Group meetings where people with MND and their carers, family and friends have the opportunity to meet with other people living with the disease and to share the experience in a positive and friendly atmosphere. The meetings are held monthly from 2.30-4.00pm alternating between the Rocky Mountain garden centre near Wells and Palmers garden centre Yeovil.
The Branch Committee meets every other month and because volunteers run the branch we are always delighted to hear from people who would like to join the team to lend us support. We organise or take part in a number of fundraising events and activities.
