This classic Inca Trail encompasses 3 high mountain passes – the highest being 4,200m. The trek will be tough and will certainly test you, but upon witnessing the sight of Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate, mirrored with breathtaking views across the Andes, your efforts are more than worthwhile!

Where can I find more information about the event?

What's the difference between a sponsorship place and a self funded place?
For a sponsorship place, the participant pays the registration fee directly to the event organisers and then commits to raise a minimum fundraising pledge for the MND Association, of which a certain amount needs to be with us by a specific date as we will then be invoiced for the cost of your challenge by the event organisers. Then the remaining pledge needs to be with us by four weeks after the event.
For a self-funded place, the participant pays the registration fee directly to the event organisers and then raises as much as they can in sponsorship for the MND Association and the MND Association incurs no costs for the place.
Can I take part if i'm under 18?
The minimum age for this trek is 18 years old (if you are aged between 14 – 17 years you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
