The difference you could make

" I'd already prepared mentally for what would be my motivation when it got tough and I simply said to myself someone suffering with MND would do absolutely anything to swap places with me so I’d be doing them a disservice not finishing. I can’t believe the support I’ve had off all of you. I’ll forever be grateful for it."

FAQs

I have a question about joining #TeamMND, who do I contact?

add remove

If you have any questions about this event, or would like more information, please contact the Fundraising Team.

Where can I find more information about the event?

add remove

You can keep up to date with event information on the event organiser's website.

What's the difference between a sponsorship place and a self funded place?

add remove

For a sponsorship place, the participant pays the registration fee directly to the event organisers and then commits to raise a minimum fundraising pledge for the MND Association, of which a certain amount needs to be with us by a specific date as we will then be invoiced for the cost of your challenge by the event organisers. Then the remaining pledge needs to be with us by four weeks after the event.

For a self-funded place, the participant pays the registration fee directly to the event organisers and then raises as much as they can in sponsorship for the MND Association and the MND Association incurs no costs for the place.

How do I register as part of a team?

add remove

Whilst you are signing up and registering for your challenge – in the TEAM INFO section (towards the end of the registration questions), you will be asked if you would like to ‘Join a team’ or ‘Create a team’.

If selecting to create a team, you will be asked to create a Team Name and Password. Subsequent team members can then register and select to join your team, and will need to provide the team password in order to join it.

Can I take part if i'm under 18?

add remove

Yes you must be 18 or over on the day of the challenge if taking on a Full Challenge, 16+ & accompanied by an adult if taking on a Half Challenge, 14+ & accompanied by an adult if taking on a Quarter Challenge.
