Event Details

The date for the London Marathon 2020 is Sunday 26th April.

Our charity places for this event are limited.

The application process has now closed. Successful applicants will be informed by telephone no later than Friday 28th June 2019 5pm.

Successful applicants will need to pay a £75 registration fee within two weeks of being offered a place and commit to raising a minimum of £2,500 in sponsorship, with at least £1,000 to be with us by 31st October.

We have a very limited number of London Marathon places which are always oversubscribed; therefore we have an application process in order to allocate the places. We only have 50 places available year on year and usually have around 500 people interested in these. We have a huge amount of interest in the places and we sadly cannot provide a place to everyone but our priority is always to ensure we raise as much as possible from our events to help people affected by MND.

We rely on this event as our biggest annual fundraiser, raising over £300,000 each year. This allows us to plan our work for the future. We want to continue to grow this event and with your help want to raise more and more year on year so we can fund more vital work in research, care and campaigning for people affected by MND.

If you are unsuccessful we would like to reassure you of the importance of your support. With plenty of great alternative events on offer there may be another challenge you could tick off your bucket list, such as the ever popular Brighton Marathon.
