Football v MND (2013/14)

Whilst this wasn’t a June Awareness Month campaign, Football v MND reached over 1.5 million football fans, helping to raise awareness of MND on a huge scale during the football season 2013/14.

Mark Maddox lived for football but now he’s dying. He has motor neurone disease (MND) and it’s started to affect the way he walks and talks. He knows it won’t be long before he’s in a wheelchair. Mark’s run marathons and jumped out of aeroplanes to raise awareness, but time is running out and he needs your help.

As a player Mark made 300 appearances as a footballer but now he has MND. He needs your help to make 300 more, before he dies from MND. Get your team to include Mark’s Football v MND poster in their match day programme.
