Next Support Meeting - Friday 26th April, 11.00 am to 1.00 pm at Tapping House, The Norfolk Hospice, Hillington PE31 6BH. Sarah Klumper, Macmillan Integrated Social Worker, will be speaking about palliative care and what is available in North and West Norfolk. People with MND, their families, carers and former carers all welcome for coffee and light lunch. Please confirm attendance to janelewis321@btinternet.com or 01263 740962

Carer friendship group - informal group, meeting for coffee on Weds 17th April and Weds 15th May from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm in the cafe at Tapping House, The Norfolk Hospice,  Hillington PE31 6BH. Walk to D'feet MND - Saturday,  15th June 10.00 am – 12.45 pm
Meet at the Kings Lynn Football Ground car park in Tennyson Road (PE30 5PB) at 10.00 am, to set off at 10.30. (For parking, recommend arrival approx. 10.00 - not too early, due to Park Run at 9.00 am!) An easy, flat, 4 mile circular walk via The Walks, London Road, river, quay and through the town back to the start. Suitable for families and wheelchairs, with the aim of increasing awareness of MND – t shirts and balloons provided ! Contact – Julian Gamble, linnet1968@gmail.com.

Plant sale and coffee morning - Saturday, 22nd June at Blakeney Scout Hut, Blakeney, Holt NR25 7PQ.  From 10.00 am to 1.30 pm. Contact janelewis321@btinternet.com or 01263 740962.

Bike for Brian - Sunday, 28th July at Watlington, near Kings Lynn. An 8 mile, family friendly sponsored bike ride for MND Association. Registration from 10.00 am. Contact janet.walker16@btinternet.com or 01366 328242.


Latest News

Very generous donation from local masonic lodges, St Winnold Royal Ark Mariners and East Anglian Mark Benevolent Association. £500 towards short stays at Park House Hotel, Sandringham for local people living with MND. Park House is a Leonard Cheshire hotel with special facilities to care for people with disabilities.  (Monday, 15th April)
