A group of cyclists wearing MND cycle vests celebrating with their medals

The route in 2023 set off from Victoria Embankment in central London and head into Essex via the historic Epping Forest. Once in Essex, cyclists passed some of the county’s most picturesque towns and villages, before joining a section of the 2014 Stage Three Tour de France route.

Riders were taken through Felsted and around the county town of Chelmsford before heading through Writtle and back towards Ongar and central London. Riders completed the ride to rapturous applause at the stunning Tower Bridge.

Looking for a shorter distance? The RideLondon 60 event is taking place on the same day.

The difference you could make

"The support from people along the roadside, and the volunteers and charities was great, really nice to be cheered along! Riding the roads without traffic was fantastic, including some of the main roads near where I live which I usually avoid, and some spectacular tunnels in London."
