Discover the hidden realities of MND
Each year on 21 June the MND Association joins with the wider MND community around the world to mark Global MND Awareness Day – a day to honour everyone affected by motor neurone disease.
Hidden Realities
This year, we’re shining a light on the hidden realities of living with MND.
We’ll be asking our community to share what they wish people knew about MND; we’ll be finding out how much people understand about the disease and the things they just don’t know; and we’ll be taking time to pay our respects to the people who are no longer with us but always remembered.
We’ll use Global MND Awareness Day to engage with Westminster MPs and Members of the Welsh Senedd, to encourage them to get involved in our campaigning work. We’ll be at a number of events, raising money and awareness. We’ll be working with volunteers and members of our 87 branches and groups to shout about the reality of MND in their local areas. And we’ll be using our platforms to share stories from our community to educate people about MND and let them know how they can support.
Get involved
There’ll be lots of ways for you to get involved in Global MND Awareness Day. Keep checking back here and on our social media feeds to find out more.
