How can I get involved?

Volunteers play an important role in the MND Association. They help to ensure that people with MND and their families receive the support and services they need.

You could be one of our volunteers! You don't need personal experience of MND - just the desire to help.

Association visitors

Association visitors provide support and information to people with MND, their families and carers.


Branch and group volunteering

The MND Association has over 90 branches and groups across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, all run entirely by volunteers who work together in many different ways to provide support, raise awareness, influence, and fundraise at a local level.


MND Connect volunteering

MND Connect is an information service provided by staff and volunteers, and is open to anyone who wants information about MND.


National office volunteering

A variety of volunteering opportunities are available at our national office which is located in Northampton town centre.


MND Association trustees

The board of trustees is a group of volunteers who take overall responsibility for the Association and act collectively to govern the Association.
