Grant Application Process

Funding for biomedical and clinical research is awarded by way of three types of grant: Project grants, PhD studentships and Healthcare awards. Below is a flow diagram briefly explaining the process.

Successful Applications

A grant will not commence until a grant acceptance form, with implicit agreement to comply with the grant terms and conditions, signed by the grantee and the respective finance department has been returned to the MND Association.

In particular, projects should not start and grants will not be activiated until copies of appropriate Home Office or ethics committee approvals have been received by the Association.
