Research we fund

One of the missions of the MND Association is to promote research into causes and treatments. This includes funding research projects.

We aim to encourage a multidisciplinary approach to MND research:

  • to stimulate innovation
  • to attract and support promising young scientists
  • to draw in established researchers working in related fields
  • to assist researchers in accessing large-scale sources of funding
