Are you an ECR who like to build skills in presenting and effective communication? Would you like to connect with other ECRs, senior researchers and the MND community?
You’re invited to MND EnCouRage on 14-15 July!
MND EnCouRage is open early career researchers, including PhD students and post docs with up to five years experience (career breaks will be considered), who have chosen MND as their field of research. You don’t need to be funded by the MND Association to attend.
'This was genuinely one of the best experiences I've had at a conference and/or workshop. I've come away truly encouraged, with renewed hope for my research and my clinical practice, with better public speaking skills, and with a whole host of lovely new people in my contacts.' – ECR, 2025
What can you expect?
- The opportunity to showcase your work to an audience of your peers, senior researchers and people living with and affected by MND.
- An exciting and fast-paced programme of talks and activities designed to support you in your career and develop key skills, including engaging with a lay audience, real-world perspectives of MND, engaging with the media, and much more.
- Networking opportunities throughout both days, giving you the chance to foster connections and relationships with both the research and MND communities.
- Complimentary accommodation at the Burleigh Court Hotel, Loughborough on the 13, 14, 15 July (if required).
How can I take part?
Abstract submission will be opening soon – keep checking here for updates!
