Get involved as a young person

If you know someone with MND, there are ways to make a difference and have fun. If under 16, you need permission from a parent or guardian to join activities.

Getting involved in fundraising
We have loads of fundraising activities that you could get involved in, from sponsored walks and marathons, to fun days or baking events. There may be events planned near you through one of our local branches or groups. Or you may have an idea of your own, or want to join a larger national event.

See our fundraising events page to find out more about the type of activities on offer.
Some events may be suitable for schools and colleges. We may be able to provide a Teacher and Youth Leader pack to help.
Getting involved in volunteering or campaigning

If you're over 16 and you'd like to help people living with MND get the support they need, you may enjoy becoming a young campaigner or young volunteer.
We have branches and groups across the UK who provide a warm welcome to families who'd like to get involved.
Getting involved in our web pages

You can share your thoughts, drawings, poems and stories with other young people on this web hub - find out more on our what's new page.
We hope to hear from you!
