Regional staff
Area Support Co-ordinator (ASC)
ASCs provide support, information and guidance to branches and groups and individual volunteers to enable them to increase capacity and develop services locally. They run induction and development workshops, as well as bring groups of volunteers together to network and share best practice. They also develop new volunteering opportunities both for individuals and by the establishment of new groups.
ASCs also work proactively with statutory, voluntary and independent sector providers to promote and influence provision of timely and equitable access to a co-ordinated network of care for people with MND and their carers that meets our standards of care. They provide support to AVs on an individual and group basis, as well as identifying and delivering development opportunities for AVs.

Regional Fundraiser (RF)
RFs work closely with branches and groups to support and develop their fundraising activities. They provide expertise in events, grant applications and corporate fundraising and are also proficient in knowledge and application of charity law and best practice. RFs also support individual fundraisers who are aiming to raise over £2,000 and, whenever possible, they will link the individual to their local branch or group for further support and to encourage repeat fundraising.

Head of Regional Care Partnership (HoRCP)
HoRs lead our work at a regional level. Changes in the NHS and other statutory services mean that ensuring people living with MND receive exceptional care and support has never been more challenging. HoRs lead our regional teams to deliver our strategy and ensure we meet the needs of people with MND in their area through the implementation of a regional delivery plan. This includes coordinating our work in care, campaigning, volunteering and fundraising, as well as ensuring everything we’re doing locally reflects the wider plans and priorities of the Association.
