The MND Association is one of four charities benefiting from this year’s Telegraph Christmas Charity Appeal.
Featuring in print and digital editions of The Telegraph from November through to January the appeal will raise funds for the MND Association, Prostate Cancer Research, Canine Partners and The Not Forgotten.
Throughout the appeal, the newspaper will feature stories and interviews from across the MND community, showcasing our work and the support we offer to people affected by MND.
Director of Engagement, Richard Evans said: “We’re thrilled to have been chosen as one of the charities being supported by the Telegraph’s Christmas Charity Appeal.
“As well as raising money to support people with MND and fund vital research, this opportunity is also about raising awareness of a cruel disease which affects more than 5,000 people in the UK at any one time.
“The stories which will be featured in the Telegraph will shine a light on the reality of MND and show why every penny raised this Christmas really does matter.”
Last year’s appeal raised £486,000 for charities including the Army Benevolent Fund, The Teenage Cancer Trust, Alzheimer’s Research UK and Humanity and Inclusion.
