BROADCASTER and MND Association patron, Charlotte Hawkins will be the host of a special Christmas concert being held in London this December.
With just under 100 days to go until Christmas Day, the Motor Neurone Disease Association has announced that its Christmas Concert will be held at St Mary’s Church in Marylebone on Tuesday, 16 December, following the success of its inaugural event last year.
The concert will feature performances from the London International Gospel Choir and readings from VIP guests. There will also be a moment of reflection to allow members of the MND community, supporters and guests to pause in the spirit of hope and togetherness.
Best known as a presenter on ITV’s Good Morning Britain and Classic FM, Charlotte has been actively involved with the MND Association after her father, Frank, was diagnosed with MND in 2011. He died just four years later and Charlotte has supported the Association ever since.
She said: “I am thrilled to be hosting the MND Association's Christmas Concert this year, after the superb reception we received at the inaugural event in 2024. It really was a beautifully festive evening with the most wonderful people.
“If you'd like to join us on 16 December, you can buy limited tickets now, hope to see you there!”
The MND Association’s Chief Executive Tanya Curry said: “Last year’s concert was a wonderful way to bring our community together for an evening of uplifting music, laughter and quiet reflection, in the beautiful surroundings of St Mary’s Church.
“I’m looking forward to meeting this year’s guests at what promises to be another memorable and truly magical evening.”
