    Walk To D'Feet MND 2026

Welcome to the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Branch

The branch is run entirely by volunteers and aims to provide the best possible support to local people with MND, their families and carers. 

The Branch covers Cardiff, The Vale of Glamorgan and some of the Rhondda Cynon Taff areas.

We hold regular information and social group meetings for people living with MND and their carers, family and friends which provide an opportunity to meet with other people living with the disease and to share experiences and ideas.

We provide advice and signpost to other services and can provide specialist equipment and access to small grants.

We provide materials and advice on how to fundraise or opportunities to volunteer for us. 
We're always looking for new volunteers! Email or ring us for more information.

Cuppa and Catch Up Sessions 

We hold regular Cuppa and Catch Up Sessions every month.

These are a chance for anyone affected by MND (people living with MND, carers, friends, family, bereaved carers) to come together for an informal cuppa and chat about anything MND related or non MND related. 

Upcoming dates, times and venues are as follows: 

Sat 28th March       12.15- 14.15 at The Community Room, Tesco Extra, Western Avenue, Cardiff, CF14 3AT

Tues 28th April       11.00 - 13.00 at Sully Sports & Social Club, South Road, Sully. CF64 5SP

Sat 6th June            11.00 - 14.00 at Murchfield Community Hall, Dinas Powys, CF64 4QQ

Tues 7th July           time tbc         at Asda Community Room, Ferry Road Retail Park, Cardiff CFCF11 0JR

2025 Christmas Lunch Event 

What a fabulous afternoon we had at our Christmas Lunch on Sunday 30th November at the Village Hotel, Cardiff. Thank you to everyone who supported in some way; we are so grateful to you. It was a perfect way to kick off the festive season, with a beautiful three course meal, entertainment, raffle and auction' raising am fantastic £4914.35.  

We enjoyed it so much, we'll be doing it all again and we would love it if you could join us, so keep 29th November 2026 free.
