Welcome to the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Branch

The branch is run entirely by volunteers and aims to provide the best possible support to local people with MND, their families and carers. 

The Branch covers Cardiff, The Vale of Glamorgan and the Rhondda Cynon Taff areas.

We hold regular information and social group meetings for people living with MND and their carers, family and friends which provide an opportunity to meet with other people living with the disease and to share experiences and ideas.

We provide advice and signpost to other services and can provide specialist equipment and access to small grants.

We provide materials and advice on how to fundraise or opportunities to volunteer for us.

Skittles night 

We will be holding our second skittles night on Sunday 13th October at 6pm at Fairwater Cons Club, Cardiff. 
£10 per adult, children 16 and under are free.

We will be holding our next information and social group in partnership with the South East Wales branch at Tredegar House on Saturday 26th October, 11am -1230pm.

2024 Christmas Lunch Event

We are very excited to bring back our fabulous Christmas lunch event at The Village Hotel, Cardiff on Sunday 24th November. 
Join us for a festive 3 course meal, entertainment and live music and a raffle and auction.

Walk to D'Feet 2025

After the huge success of our 2024 Walk which raised over £5000, we will be holding our next on Sunday 11th May at Cosmeston Lakes, Penarth.
