Yeovil Golf Club incoming captains Jeff 'Soapy' Watson (Mens Captain) and Francine Barrett (Ladies Captain) have kindly chosen to support the MND Association in Somerset. To celebrate taking on the role a traditional "Captains Drive In" event was held in late October raising just over £600. More events are planned for the year, we look forward to working with them and are so grateful for their support.

Both Captains feature on the image below, taken on the day, as well as Dave Park who lives with MND in the Yeovil area.

In November the Probus Club of Yeovil kindly donated a cheque for £620 to our Relationship Fundraiser Sarah Armstrong at their AGM. The money was raised through the charity collection at each charity lunch this year. Many thanks to all at the Probus Club for their support this year.

A recent  support meeting was attended by Janine Hodson who took part in our Run 31 fundraising challenge to support her colleague Caroline. Having heard about the challenge and our Branch, Janine's father-in-law mentioned us at the weekly meeting of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) Madeley Lodge. The 'Buffs' kindly agreed to donate £200 to the Branch and Janine presented the cheque at our meeting. Picture are Janine, her colleague Caroline, Branch Committee Member Lee and Community Support Coordinator Andy. A big thank you to both Janine and the 'Buffs' for your support.
